Products sold by Galaxo carry the manufacturer's and supplier's warranty. The warranty period typically ranges from 12–36 months by product.
Information displays are designed for continuous professional use. They're sold by the operating-hours profile (e.g. 24/7) and the picture stays high-quality for years of regular use. Consumer TVs may drop into standby if they don't see remote-control activity for a while — a limitation that doesn't apply to professional displays in the same way.
Information displays can be managed remotely and reliably. Galaxo's information displays typically have sturdier construction and surfaces — metal frames and tempered glass are common in professional models.
Resolution depends on the use case and viewing distance. Full HD (1920×1080) is enough for many indoor sites. For surfaces over 55″, 4K (3840×2160) often pays off.
In typical indoor sites, displays are nearly maintenance-free. In dusty or temperature-variable environments, an annual cleaning and check is worthwhile. Outdoor displays can have air filters that should be replaced on schedule.
Yes — depending on the situation we'll arrange service or repair.
Consumption depends on operating hours and display size. A typical 49″ professional display can run on the order of one hundred watts on average — roughly the same as a couple of traditional incandescent bulbs.
Yes. Galaxo Infochannel can run on your own display as long as it has the necessary connections (e.g. HDMI) for a media player.
A practical approach is to bring the deck into Galaxo Infochannel and schedule the slide times. The presentation can loop back to the start after the last slide.
Yes. There are dedicated outdoor models built to withstand Finnish weather: the hardware manages temperature and humidity, with heating in winter and cooling in summer as part of the solution. The outdoor display has to be bright enough to remain readable in direct sun — depending on the location that's typically around 2,500 nits.
Totems can be delivered installed and you can get clear instructions if needed. Outdoor totems are heavy — read the install instructions carefully.
Yes. Many indoor and outdoor models can be ordered with touch. The technology is the same capacitive touch you know from smartphones.

Resolution and 'sharpness' are determined by physical size, pixel pitch and viewing distance. Short viewing distances and smaller surfaces use a denser pixel grid. Video and detailed content raise the bar.

Brightness is set by the install location. For an indoor space without direct sunlight, 800–1,000 nits is often enough. A shop window or an outdoor site needs significantly more — up to around 4,000 nits. Automatic brightness adjustment matters so day and night don't dazzle anyone unnecessarily.
Lifespan depends on location, environmental stress and maintenance. Outdoors, under heavy stress and without service, faults can appear within a few years. A well-designed and well-serviced quality LED can last more than ten years. Picking the right cabinet type for the install location is critical.
Every project is unique: the LED surface is just one part of the total cost. Pricing is driven by physical size (width × height), pixel pitch (e.g. 0.9–10 mm), install location and method. Roadside placements may need permits, foundations and electrical work — all of which show up in the investment.
Outdoor displays often involve official permits or building permits. For roadside installations the Finnish Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY) can weigh in on placement and brightness limits. Indoor solutions normally don't require equivalent permits. Automatic brightness adjustment helps meet the requirements.
Lead time is typically about two and a half months from order: the screen is built to order and shipped to Finland.
Yes. Rent is set by the contract length and the screen value. Rental periods can run for example 1–5 years; at the end you can often buy it out.
Outdoor use and high brightness raise consumption versus indoor use. Sizing assumes peak power, but average consumption is typically much lower. As an example: a high-brightness outdoor model can peak at around 800 W/m² and average roughly a third of that.
Large-format LED is compatible with Galaxo Infochannel: content is managed from a browser on a phone or computer.
Installation is professional work: cabinets, electrical, structural loads and safety all require experience. Large-format LED is in practice always delivered installed.
Quality systems are CE type-approved and designed to be safe in public and demanding environments.
