You get the display and the installation from us as part of the same solution, and our support team serves you in Finnish and, when needed, in English. Our experience in the field goes back to 1996, and the same solution works for one display or a network across several sites. Security meets the public-sector VAHTI and KATAKRI requirements.

When you know what you are buying, you can order the software from the webshop and add a display to the order if you do not have one yet. With the Enterprise service we map your needs and build a solution that fits you.

For indoor use, 300–400 nits is typically enough. Displays installed outdoors or in a shop window need 2,500–4,000 nits.

Display size affects the choice slightly: smaller displays are usually fine with lower brightness.

It depends on the use case and location. Showing detailed text and information often calls for a larger surface; moving images work on a smaller size. Below 65″ the price differences between sizes tend to stay manageable.

Yes. Indoor displays let you adjust brightness manually. Galaxo's outdoor and window displays adjust their brightness automatically based on ambient light.

With Galaxo Infochannel you can update a display or a network of displays from a phone or computer, anywhere, anytime. The system is designed to be easy to use.

Products sold by Galaxo carry the manufacturer's and supplier's warranty. The warranty period typically ranges from 12–36 months by product.

Information displays are designed for continuous professional use. They're sold by the operating-hours profile (e.g. 24/7) and the picture stays high-quality for years of regular use. Consumer TVs may drop into standby if they don't see remote-control activity for a while — a limitation that doesn't apply to professional displays in the same way.

Information displays can be managed remotely and reliably. Galaxo's information displays typically have sturdier construction and surfaces — metal frames and tempered glass are common in professional models.

Resolution depends on the use case and viewing distance. Full HD (1920×1080) is enough for many indoor sites. For surfaces over 55″, 4K (3840×2160) often pays off.

In typical indoor sites, displays are nearly maintenance-free. In dusty or temperature-variable environments, an annual cleaning and check is worthwhile. Outdoor displays can have air filters that should be replaced on schedule.

Yes — depending on the situation we'll arrange service or repair.

Consumption depends on operating hours and display size. A typical 49″ professional display can run on the order of one hundred watts on average — roughly the same as a couple of traditional incandescent bulbs.

Yes. Galaxo Infochannel can run on your own display as long as it has the necessary connections (e.g. HDMI) for a media player.

A practical approach is to bring the deck into Galaxo Infochannel and schedule the slide times. The presentation can loop back to the start after the last slide.

Yes. There are dedicated outdoor models built to withstand Finnish weather: the hardware manages temperature and humidity, with heating in winter and cooling in summer as part of the solution. The outdoor display has to be bright enough to remain readable in direct sun — depending on the location that's typically around 2,500 nits.

Totems can be delivered installed and you can get clear instructions if needed. Outdoor totems are heavy — read the install instructions carefully.

Yes. Many indoor and outdoor models can be ordered with touch. The technology is the same capacitive touch you know from smartphones.

Yes. Displays connect to the network and Galaxo Infochannel lets you manage content from a browser anywhere. The interface is light and works on virtually any internet-connected device.
